Can we please get info 6 weeks in advance of all future Pro Tour events?#287

If I were to qualify for an event that’s over 400 miles away I would require knowing about 6 weeks out exactly what the hotel and prize structure/stipend situation would be in order to even consider attending. I’m sure I’m not alone. Ordering machined parts from overseas often takes a while. If those don’t work out or need a second order or rework it could double that to easily 4 or 5 weeks. Not everyone can make parts in house with <3 weeks notice. Some people need an extra week or more to guarantee a shipped robot arrives in time.

As things become more established, a more consistent communication cadence is something we’re actively working toward. We hear you on the runway. We know builders need lead time and we want to give it to you. We can’t commit to a specific timeline for all details, but getting information out earlier is a priority and we’ll push as hard as we can to get there.
